This fuel pump VIBRATION DAMPER is for all K75, K100, and K1100 models built January, 1993, and later.
This part (circled in the photo) is made in the US. It’s identical to the original BMW item except for two important distinctions:
1. It is completely resistant to ethanol, so unlike the BMW part, it will not dissolve into sticky goo with prolonged exposure to ethanol which, in the US is practically inevitable.
2. It is LESS EXPENSIVE than the stock part!
The vibration damper, as well as the strainer, should be replaced whenever the fuel pump is replaced. Those parts are SOLD SEPARATELY.
