The little things count. If you want your R69US, Slash 5, or 1974 Slash 6 restoration to be correct, you'll need the 13-rib fork boots to put on it.
These haven't been available from BMW for a long time but Bob's has 'em. (The ones BMW sells now have 11 ribs and are a bit shorter. They just don't look right on the early 70s bikes.) From Germany and correct in every detail.
Remember to order TWO to restore both fork legs.
