Keihan components will mix and match with stock exhaust parts!

SS Brake Hose Kit, 1978-'80 R100S
This braided STAINLESS STEEL brake line kit fits 1978-1980 R100S. It includes three lines: one for each front caliper and one for the rear brake.
Bob’s braided stainless steel brake lines are hand crafted exclusively for us by a senior BMW Master Technician with whom we have a long standing partnership; and each one is made precisely to fit a specific BMW application -- the ONLY stainless brake lines available which can make that claim! You're assured of the highest quality and correct fit for your bike.
The brake lines shown here on our e-Store are the most popular standard applications. But there are many more! If you don’t see the line you need, or if you are in search of something custom made for a specific application, please CALL!
Why switch to stainless? Stock lines on most BMWs before 2004 are made of reinforced synthetic rubber which, even when new, expands under pressure, leading to a mushy feel. In older marginal systems this can lead to the brake lever running out of movement before full system pressure has been reached. Our brake lines consist of an extruded Teflon hose, tightly wrapped in stainless steel wire braid, then coated in clear plastic to protect painted surfaces. There is virtually no expansion and you get better braking performance!

Logo Roundel - Cloisonne, 1970-'73
This is the BMW roundel exactly like the ones that came stock on all /5 fuel tanks, 1970-1973. Made of ceramic and metal, a process called cloisonne enamel on a nickel-silver substrate.
70mm diameter (2-3/4ths inches) with holes for attaching screws (not included).
Note: Be gentle when tightening the screws. The cloisonne finish can chip or crack if screws are over-tightened!

BMW Repair Manual - R50/5, R60/5, R75/5, Repro
This is a reproduction of the original BMW Factory Repair Manual for R50/5, R60/5, and R75/5 models from 1970-'73. It comes in an easy-to-use three ring binder configuration.
• 203 pages
• Photos in black & white (as originally produced)
• Text is in English
• Durable three-ring binder included
NOTE: BMW factory repair manuals were not written with the typical owner/handyman in mind, but rather as a reference guide for factory trained mechanics. Therefore, to many readers, some of the descriptions of repair procedures will seem abridged. That's because it is assumed that the reader already possesses a great deal of technical expertise.
While the factory repair manual certainly offers a lot of useful information and historic interest. if you’re going to actually work on your bike, we recommend combining it with either the Clymer or Haynes manual for best results.
