The BMW “Softbag 2 Small” is a versatile, 30+6 liter Tail Bag that can be mounted to either the luggage rack or on the passenger seat of a variety of models including: R1200GS, R1200RT, K1300GT, K1300S, F800ST, and others.
The large main compartment is easy to pack and is waterproof, not only because of the water-repellent shell material but also thanks to the inner waterproof liner with welded seams and pullcord closure. It is large enough to easily contain a full-face helmet. Four additional compartments on the exterior give you lots of ways to pack and organize your stuff. All zippers are of the waterproof self-sealing type. A single zip-around expansion gusset allows you to make the bag bigger for an additional 6 liter capacity.
There are reflective panels on the back and both sides to increase your visibility at night. There is a padded area on the front which will add back comfort for a passenger or the rider should the bag be mounted on the rear seat.
Straps and hooks for a variety of mounting applications are all included with the bag (not shown in these pictures). There is also a shoulder strap included for easy carrying when the bag is off the bike.
