Let’s face it; some of us aren’t as limber as we once were. Yet it seems designers keep giving us bikes that require us to fold up into a racing crouch to ride! Oh, to be young again! Well, our Footpeg Lowering Kits offer a simple solution. Now you can enjoy those longer rides free from leg or knee discomfort — without major modifications to your motorcycle. The kits come with everything you need, install easily, and the difference to the appearance of your bike is barely noticeable. Exact dimensions differ slightly from model to model, but they all effectively lower your footpeg position about 2 inches. Ground clearance will not be an issue except in radical corner leaning. (Our guess is that if you ride that way, you’re not interested in lowering your footpegs in the first place.) Available for most models.

****Extended shift levers, where indicated for specific models, are not required but will facilitate shifting by maintaining the same relative position of shifter to footpeg as stock. In other words, if you don’t install the extended shifter you will have to modify your shifting technique some what to adapt to a new position.

*******Note, on the R1150RS there is some minor interference between the left adapter and the center stand actuating arm. When deploying or retracting the center stand, the left peg must be retracted slightly.
